Since the launch of our Spatializer SLX, Sonalux has been producing and supporting live events using immersive sound and light. At the centre of these experiences is our unique technology: the only hardware system of its kind to give musicians and venues intuitive, hands-on control over spatial sound. Designed and developed in Liverpool, UK, the Spatializer SLX makes advanced multichannel performance more accessible for artists, audiences and venues alike.
Music for 8 Colours
In early 2026, we partnered with MusicFutures to present two immersive events. One of these was Music for 8 Colours at District, featuring live performances by Brazilian jazz fusion Misty Jungle and experimental singer Jack Joy, alongside live soundscapes and electroacoustic compositions. The event used an octaphonic setup of eight illuminated speakers arranged around the audience, combining spatial sound with synchronised light.
